Coronavirus (COVID-19) Guidance and ECSKC activities
In his speech on 24th March, the Taoiseach, Leo Varadkar, stated that all clubs are to shut and announced a ban on all organised outdoor sports and social events (amongst other things).
As a key club activity is holding meets, this will cease until further notice.
ECSKC cannot support or otherwise condone organised sea kayak gatherings.

From the 24th March onwards:
- All organised events are suspended until further notice; and
- ECSKC Committee requests that other organised activities such as 'peer' meets are NOT arranged or advertised via the website.

The government update on Friday (27th March) placed further restrictions on outdoor kayaking activity (even if you lived beside the sea/river).

I hope that we could use this down time for training, study, kayak naval gazing or trip planning - to be ready for our release from COVID-19 restrictions

ECSKC Committee,
