Incredibly lucky to survive a landing on this coast. Just shows the coastguard helicopter had difficulty in spotting him. Use plenty of SOLAS tape on you, your boat, your helmet too. Carry some sort of light or flare. We all usually have radio which the Coastguard helicopter can DF onto your position. Most of all try not to paddle alone.
