Hi All
This is the latest info on the history of Bulloch talks which may be of interest.

Update No 18 - Latest news on Bullock 200 Lecture series

Bartra Appeal to An Bord Pleanála
There has been no further news so we still await the decision of An Bord Pleanála on the Appeal.

Bullock Harbour Bicentenary Lecture Series
You will see from the attached flyer that in conjunction with the Dublin Port Company we are continuing our very successful series of talks on the history and heritage of Bullock given by excellent speakers from the Port Company and elsewhere. These will take place at 8pm each evening in Dalkey Castle & Heritage Centre.

The next two events are:

Tuesday 12 March 8pm "The Port across the Bay - evolution from the early 19th century to 2040" **
Eamonn O'Reilly, Chief Executive Officer, Dublin Port Company **
** Please note the change of speaker and topic for the March lecture as Eamonn O'Reilly was unable to deliver our Opening Lecture in November, and Lar Joye spoke about the Port Archives in his place.

Tuesday 9 April 8pm "Dublin Bay UNESCO Biosphere - Marine Life and Culture"
A panel discussion on the environment of the bay, present and future, covering biodiversity and the conservation of the marine and bird life. Speakers include:
Ann Murray, DLRCC Biodiversity Officer and Dublin Bay Biosphere Partnership
Richard Nairn, Birdwatch Ireland and Director, Dublin Port Tern Project
Professor John Brannigan, UCD, on Cultural Value of Coastal Environments

Admission is free, all are welcome and there is no longer any need to pre-book places.
Sincere thanks in anticipation of your continued support,
