My first time paddling this iconic stretch of coastline. Keeping an eye on conditions for the first Skellig trip of the year. Alas twas not to be. Nevertheless, had a cracking day exploring Valentia harbour, lighthouse sound and islands and another day birdwatching at the Kerry Cliffs and scouting future locations. Not finished with you yet Kerry!

I'm planning to go but keeping an eye on windguru (was very kind just now but changes his mind regularly). I'm going in the van (my bedroom) so can take 1 (only room for 1 boat+mine on the roof). Will be leaving from work (Naas) Friday pm and back to Swords (via Naas) on Sunday (not tooooo late). cheers N

Smashing weekends paddling on the Dingle Peninsula, with 20+ISKAteers and fellow ECSKCers Joachim & Nic. Camping was pleasant, not too cold, just a few bitey thingies on the Friday evening, rinsed off with a spot of kayak surfing. Saturday options included, hiking, walking, paddling the Maharee Islands or Brandon Cé to An Sas. Sunday trip along the equally fab coastline from Dingle to Ventry, cliffs, caves and cetaceans. A few shaky snaps, given the F4/5 squeaky bum wind over tide conditions...

Kilkee meet next, a chance to cross off some more iconic paddle trips!
