I'm not a birdwatcher (not the feathered variety anyway) but loved this video and am sure anyone who has been out there will enjoy it too.
Beautiful cinematography and great work that they do, Birdwatch Ireland wardens 4 month stint on Rockabill, well worth 52mins of your time Rockabill Video

Magnificent. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Thanks for the heads-up. To be recommended, even to chancers.

Those nest boxes from Balbriggan school, that’s Sean Pierce one presumes?

While watching it this evening it happens I received an email from a 1997 “round Irelander” who wondered about the slim volume of Oileáin then available. I responded that Oileáin was first published in 1995 on yellow A4 paper (possibly bound with green carpet tape), which was a security precaution (at least I think so, but please don’t look for a coherent explanation), with 86 islands if I recall correctly, then selling in Great Outdoors for £5.00.

It was when he said his copy was on white paper and therefore likely bootleg I wondered, does anyone have a yellow page A4 1990s Oileáin, still, and then might follow the big question, which do they value greater, their personal nostalgia, or mine ?
