On normal club trips we don't have a lot of immersion events. Guys practice rolling and rescues at the end of the session. Certainly if you're planning a wet session a 4/3mm close fitting wetsuit or a drysuit with good thermals is required.

Go sea swimming without a wetsuit. You will soon adapt to the temperature.

Hi Lyndon. I have a Kokatat Expedition drysuit which has not been used for several winters and the seals need to be replaced. It's in fairly good condition otherwise. It has a long diagonal front zip. Zips are perfect. I think it's a medium size. You are welcome to borrow it to show it to other club members and ask their advice. Then if you are interested I think it might be worth about a quarter of the price of a new suit. I have a fleece onesie and a pair of Chota boots which I used with it.
Please give me a call if you are interested.
