Hi All,

I’m adding a compact ‘kayaking’ camera to my wish list :-)

Good Quality pics, Great colour, Fully Waterproof & reasonably Drop-Proof would be desirable.

Olympus Tough TG6 & Nikon Coolpix 300 seem to be the most popular.

I’d be grateful for all recommendations or warnings please.

Hi Hazel

My recommendation would be for the Olympus Tough. I have used one for many years and it has never let me down - also has a great safety feature where it will give you your longitude and latitude readings of where you are and has a fantastic battery life. I got mine in Cons cameras and they give really good customer support.

It really is waterproof and pretty drop proof too
