The clocks have 'sprung forward'. The evenings, especially for the last two weeks, have become attractive again for outdoor activities. And best of all, Wednesday evening paddles are only around the corner.
Wednesday evening paddles are normally scheduled from early May to late September. The eagle-eyed may wonder why is this approx. five weeks before the solstice but eleven weeks after the solstice. If they can figure out why 'midsummer' is on 20 June--clearly not the middle of the 'summer'--they will have their answer.
Wednesday evening paddles are usually scheduled to meet at 7:00 and launch at 7:30. Some Wednesday evenings might start 30 minutes earlier. The exact meet/launch time is left discretion of the leader on the night.
