Club paddling meets are mostly on Saturdays during the winter, and both Saturday mornings and Wednesday evenings in the summer. Sometimes meets are organised for Sunday or other days. The evening meets are usually between 2 and 3 hours whilst the daytime meets vary from a couple of hours up to most of a day depending on the objective.
Meets are organised frequently from Bullock Harbour, Bray or Howth and somewhat less frequently from various other launch points typically between Skerries and Wicklow. During the winter we organise pool sessions at which you can practice various kayaking techniques (including rolling) in the warmth of an indoor swimming pool.
We also organise occasional social events, typically quiz nights, slideshows about paddling trips/expeditions or talks by wildlife or other relevant experts. These are usually held in various locations in the Dublin area.
The full schedule of events is shown on the events calendar. |
