Oileáin is a book which contains a wealth of valuable and accessible information for the kayaker (and others) about the wildlife, stories and history of the islands of Ireland. Oileáin, a Guide to the Irish Islands, David Walsh, was first published as a hard copy book in 2004 by Pesda Press ISBN 0-9531956-9-4. Oileáin is an evolving project and the web version continues to grow. The published 2004 version contained information on 313 islands and now in 2010 there are 514 dealt with.. |
